Well, I work at a grocery store and today, I thought about your question every time a mango passed my fingers and I think I know the answer to your question.
Not all mangos are tropical or grown under the tropical sun for some might have been grown in a green house or their growth might have been manipulated in another way and might therefore not be considered really tropical. So .. there ya go!
