"Oh, oh, oh, pick me, pick me!" I know this one! We have an HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) business. Actually, forced air systems do 'condition' the air by filtering it. That's why it's so important to change your A/C filters often. And there are many additional filters that can be added onto your system. We have a UV filter that kills viruses and all kinds of other microscopic things. And we also have an electro-static something or other that filters out more dust and stuff than the return filters alone. With the way that houses are built now for energy efficiency there is less natural air flow, so sometimes the air in your house can be more polluted than the air outside because of all the outgassing of carpets, etc. Sorry, for such a long comment here. Sometimes I get carried away. (I'm not trying to sell you a new A/C unit or anything.)
I don't have air conditioning so I know absolutely nothing about it. Thanks for the education! I agree about indoor air being more polluted that outdoor air. I can't wait for it to get warm enough that I can finally open the windows and get some fresh air into the house. Sometimes I leave a door open for a bit during the cold weather just to get some air.
