You know, I wonder that too. And golf courses? I love the desert, but why try to turn it into something else?
Rae Ann - I agree, golf courses in the desert! How absurd is that?Dr. Max - we should have drinking water AND dancing fountains. Never mind that the Colorado River no longer reaches the Gulf of Mexico.
People (as one commenter said on my blog) are basically pigs. Sorry, that didn't come out right. It was unfair to pigs.
My husband has wondered this for years!! He used to live in Phoenix.
