The grocery store is an endless source of amusement for me. I went down an aisle I don't normally go to and right next to the Hamburger Helper was Slow Cooker Helper. For those of you who don't use a slow cooker (crockpot), all you do is put in meat, veggies, seasonings, some kind of liquid and turn it on. Which part of this extremely simple process needs to be "helped"?

Do they have Microwave Helper too?
My guess is that there'd been so much emphasis on the "fast cookers" that the "slow cookers" felt left out. But I stress that is just a guess.
Sorry Doc, when I said that thing about "the slow cookers," I wasn't talking about you. You're not "slow"; you just cook to the beat of a different drummer, if you'll allow me to mix some metaphors in my proverbial Cuisinart.
That's just so wrong!
That is like Easy Mac. What was so frickin hard about regular mac-n-cheese?
To go along with the slow cooker helper. You can pick up slow cooker liners. So, you don't even have to wash the thing.
Alright, you all mock me, but I would actually buy the slow cooker stuff. I consider making toast cooking. I am challenged to put a meal together, any little bit helps.
This is to funny I have seen them in my grocery aisle as well. Everything is a big hurry now, however my favorite item on the shelf is the ready cooked roast. All this reminds me of the old TV dinners.
