How do you grow seedless watermelons?

Oh, I'm stumped on that one. And the seedless grapes too.

Well you 'oughta' know, you seem to be the master gardener!
Seriously, how do you grow seedless watermelons or grapes?
I'd love to see a seedless avocado, that would be a treat!

It's like a mule, which is the sterile offspring of a horse and a donkey (Now there's a picture! I wonder who gets to be on top?). You cross two different kinds of watermelon (I don't know which kinds) and the resulting plants produce fruit with no seeds. I have to admit the first time I saw the sign for seedless watermelons in the Produce aisle, I stopped dead in my tracks and said WTF? How do you grow them with no seeds? I'm a real terror in the grocery store. Always seeing strange stuff. Strange to me, at least.
