Why do people live in flood zones? They know their houses will fill with water when it rains. They know all of their possessions will be destroyed. And there they are every time, on the evening news, bravely vowing to rebuild as if it will never happen again.

Maybe they are the same people who have those spiral bushes. And that insistance on rebuilding in the same place is why the usual insurance companies don't offer flood insurance. It's kind of the same thing as asking people if they are sky-divers and stuff when they apply for life insurance. It's a bad risk.

I never feel sorry for them. In fact, I despise them for wasting taxpayer money to rebuild in an area where maybe people shouldn't even be living! Just like those damn beach front properties in Florida or the hill homes in California. Wha, frickin Wha!

Rae Ann, your answers are better than my questions.

Oh, you're too generous to say that! I love your questions!
